Residual Architectures

Residual Architectures navigates the sediment and patinas left by time, memory, and corrosion through layered paint, applied materials, gestural mark making, and tarnished textured surfaces. Built through processes of accumulation, erosion, and revision, the works reveal their own visceral histories.

Asymmetrical compositions create a calm sense of balance, while scraped passages, fragmented color, and expressive gestures move between construction and dissolution. The resulting paintings are layered abstractions that invite reflection with spatial constructs, process, and transformation.
